The hotel has only 10 rooms. We were the only guests there, sometimes a couple of tourists come for 2 days, and so basically we were there alone. The owners complied with all of our whims. The most amazing thing with which I first encountered - they did not take money in advance. I tried to suggest at the outset to pay for the room, but they refused and we have already paid off before leaving. We ate there, for food, too, could pay off in the end of the holiday, but we pay every day to understand how much money we have left. So it was convenient.

Big minus Mirissy, which we found is the lack of shops, supermarkets and more precisely. Therefore, if you go to this place and expect yourself to cook - it is problematic. The nearest supermarkets are in Mathare and Veligamme. In Mirisse only small shops that sell sweets, fruit and water.By the way liquor in Sri Lanka is sold in some small shops. Male probably a week could not find them. Like a beer, and in any supermarket, it was not. Beer costs if you buy at these stores - about 150-170 rupees.
The beach itself Mirissa us very much. Very beautiful place. Tourists have been very, very little that unspeakably happy. For all the rest time we have not met a single Russian. In the evenings, Mirisse do really nothing. All cafes are closed after 21.30, no shops where you could walk used. And at 10 pm the island in general is dying out.
